With Carlsbad's oceanfront charm, proximity to LA, and creative roots, CIFF offers something truly unique: a boutique film festival that's intimate, inviting, and rich in culture.

CIFF celebrates diverse filmmakers, emerging voices, and celebrated industry veterans — with a special focus on highlighting the talent that lives and works right here in our own backyard.

I started CIFF because I love movies. Growing up, film had a huge impact on my life. It's what led me into photography and acting, and it's what continues to inspire me. CIFF is my way of giving that experience back to others: sharing the kinds of films that make you feel something, think differently, or connect with someone new.

My hope is that people leave CIFF not just entertained, but moved. That they feel part of the Carlsbad community, and maybe even walk away with a deeper appreciation for the art of film.
